Q. What inspired you to become a Mortgage Broker?
A. I am at a stage in life where I genuinely want to help people progress the property ladder.
Q. What is the best part of being a Mortgage Broker?
A. Meeting new people and having the opportunity to help them attain their goals. Also crunching the numbers and doing the deal.
Q. What have you found to be the most challenging aspect?
A. Keeping up to date with constantly changing legislation and bank policies.
Q. What is your most memorable client experience?
A. It has to be settlement day for a first home buyer.
Q. How would you sum up being a Mortgage Broker in three words?
A. Honest. Reliable. Resourceful.
Q. If you were Prime Minister for one day, what would you do?
A. Easy, introduce a flat tax. Surely the best way to reward hard work and success. I would also scrap the bright line test and reintroduce tax deductibility on interest for property investors. Interest is a genuine business expense.
Q. If you could have dinner with any three people (alive or dead), who would it be?
A. Warren Buffett. Graeme Hart. Frank Lowy.
