I was a banker for over 8 years. I have decided I still want to do what I do best: build client relationships and assist with development journeys.
What is the best part of being a Mortgage Broker?
I don't take NO for an answer. I completed nearly 150 applications last year with only 1 decline, and saved 3 businesses from liquidation.
What have you found to be the most challenging aspect?
As a broker, I must convince lenders rather than make decisions myself, requiring meticulous application preparation and ongoing training.
What is your most memorable client experience?
Preventing a 70-year-old couple from bankruptcy through alternative solutions when their existing bank refused help.
How would you sum up being a Mortgage Broker in three words?
I am not a broker - I am family 'finance' Doctor.
