About Simone
Q. What inspired you to become a Mortgage Broker?
A. Finance, property & economics have always been a passion of mine. I’ve studied and read as much as I could over the years & enjoyed helping & friends out informally, till someone pointed out I should really just make it my career 
The lightbulb finally twigged and I did just that – studied to make it official and here I am today!
Q. What is the best part of being a Mortgage Broker?
A. Having the ability and also the knowledge to educate & help clients better their finances & succeeding in life! Seeing people buy their first home is just such a thrill too, and something I remember all too well the immense pride when we did it ourselves 🙂
Q. What have you found to be the most challenging aspect?
A. The ever changing legislation & having to be super organised! Luckily I’m a book worm and I love reading & studying.. but I definitely need to work on being more organised 
Q. How would you sum up being a Mortgage Broker in three words?
A. Helpful, Knowledgable & Hardworking 🙂
Q. If you were Prime Minister for one day, what would you do?
A. Hmmm 
I wouldn’t even know where to start I’d be a whirlwind of ideas 
But I would definitely remove GST off fresh food & essentials to encourage & make healthy food more affordable. And secondly reinstate the interest deductibility on rental income.. we need a thriving rental market and affordable rents to help ease the housing crisis in NZ!
Q. Complete this sentence: If I Wasn’t in Mortgage Broking, I would be…
A. A property mogul !! I would love to build high density affordable housing locally. I also love renovating & property flipping.. just give me a property portfolio and a few million dollars and it’ll be happy days
